Do you have fun memories of summer camp at Brinkley? Did you have a good time with mom at Mom and Me Camp? Do you like camping and being outdoors? Do you love winter activities? Do you enjoy being a Cub Scout? If you answered "yes" to one or more of these questions then Wolf and Bear Winter Camp is for YOU!
WHAT: Wolf and Bear Cub Scouts and their parents are invited to join in on winter fun at Camp Sheppard. The program will include fun activities throughout camp including snow tubing, snowshoe hiking, scavenger hunts, games, sports, crafts, day hikes, campfires, and Cub Scout advancement. Camp Sheppard's nine cabins each sleep 20 people in bunk beds wiht mattresses, and are heated by gas furnaces. Every Cub Scout must be accompanied by an adult, preferably a parent or close relative.
WHERE: Camp Sheppard is on route 410 near the Crystal Mountain ski area.
WHO: Wolf and Bear Cub Scouts and their parents.
WHEN: Pack 70/72 dates: December 13-14, 2008. If you are unable to attend with the pack, Wolves and Bears can still attend one of the other two camps on December 6-7 or 20-21, 2008.
FEES: The cost is $57.00 per person, which covers Saturday night lodging, and lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
