Greetings Pack 70/72 Members!

It's that time of year again.  Time to register for Camp Sheppard.  Please register as soon as you can as two weekends have already sold out.

We have picked Feb 19-21(full) and ALSO March 11-13 to go to Camp Sheppard.  Please contact the scouting office to register your scout and yourself if you plan on attending.

Located in the scenic Cascade Mountains, just minutes from Crystal Mountain ski area, this alpine camp offers activities including snow sports (weather permitting), day hikes, games, advancements, crafts and more. Increase the fun by participating as a pack or den!

Two weekend options are offered ranging from $90 to $100 per person.

Call the Seattle Council Camping Department at 206-725-0361 to register.  Please tell them you will be with Pack 70/72.  Once registered please let me know who will be attending, scout and/or parent.

How to Register

Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. . Full payment is due at time of registration. Insurance is required for out-of council units. BSA medical form Parts A & B required for each Scout and adult (brought to camp). Make checks payable to “Chief Seattle Council.” Register by mail or over the phone with credit card at 206-725-0361. Choose from the two plans below:

Plan A $100 each

Friday after dinner (6:30pm) to Sunday morning (10 am). Includes 4 meals and two nights’lodging.

Plan B $90 each

Saturday 9:30 am to Sunday morning (10 am). Includes lunch, dinner and Sun. breakfast and one night’s lodging.

More About Camp

The program includes fun activities throughout the camp such as snow sports, scavenger hunts, games, crafts, day hikes, campfires and outdoor cooking. Snowy conditions are not guaranteed but there will still be plenty to do. Cub Scout advancements will also be offered. Camp Sheppard’s nine heated cabins each sleep 24 people in bunks with mattresses. Restrooms are centrally located and the lodge provides a warm haven. For your convenience the trading post will be open with snacks, craft items, t-shirts and more.  Check  out the following information for more detailed information.
