Who: All Queen Anne Cub Scouts, their families and their friends interested in scouting.
What: End-of-Summer Picnic --- our last Pack summertime event (featuring the biggest game of "HA" the park has ever seen!)
When: Thursday, September 3rd, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Where: Carkeek Park (just north of Crown Hill off of Holman Road). Directions: http://www.seattle.gov/parks/parkspaces/CarkeekPark/directions.htm#car. After entering the park, stay to the right and head up the hill to the big grassy area/parking area. Park and look for our group on the east end of the grassy area (not the water side) where the picnic shelters are.
What is provided: meat/buns, condiments, plates/cups/utensils, drinks
What to Bring:
□ Last names starting with A - L please bring a "side" or salad to share; M - Z please bring a dessert to share. Scout food creations are welcome and encouraged.
□ Picnic blanket and camping chairs
□ Sports equipment and outdoor games to share
□ Friends who may be interested in scouting
□ Bug spray (just in case)
What to Wear: Pack t-shirts and appropriate coats/clothing for weather (rain or shine). FYI, Pack t-shirts will be available for sale ($7 per shirt) for those parents and siblings who haven’t yet purchased them. New scouts receive a t-shirt when they register (yes, you can also register for scouting while at the picnic).
