First Pack Meeting of the year, Monday September 8 at 7 pm

posted Aug 28, 2014, 9:21 AM by Webmaster Queen Anne Cub Scouts

Welcome to the new 2014/2015 School Year and the startup of Pack 7072's regular pack and den meetings.

Our first Pack meeting of the year will be on Monday, September 8 at the Presbyterian Church on Queen Anne Ave from 7 pm to 8:15 pm.

We are planning an exciting year.  In addition to the ever popular Pinewood Derby, Rain Gutter Regatta, Bottle Rockets, Scouting for Food and Winter Camping, we’ll be focused on getting outdoors whenever possible. As always, we’ll have, “Fun with a Purpose.”

Remember to have the boys wear their Class A Uniforms.  If you’re new, see the information below on what you need.   If you don’t have time, given all the activities surrounding the start of school, don’t worry about it. No problem.  Just come.  We’re hoping to hand out Class B uniforms at the meeting – which are our Pack 7072 t-shirts.

Den meetings will start Monday, September 15.  We’ll provide more den information at the pack meeting.

Please feel free to email me (coombs_jeff@earthlink.net) or call me (650-823-2504) if you have questions.  There is also a list of den leaders under the Our Leaders section.  We will be keeping the website up-to-date so you can always go here for the latest information.

I am very much looking forward to a fun and exciting year.

Class A uniforms are worn to pack meetings and many other events.   They are the blue shirts with all the insignia.  You can also buy blue pants if you wish.   Buy scout uniforms at the Scout Shop (see below).  The Scout Shop folks are very helpful and can tell you what you need.  There is also a uniform guide on our website (see below)

Class B Uniforms are worn to more informal meetings, such as ones where we do outdoor cleanup or tend to get dirty.  The pack will provide these.

The Pack will provide:

Neckerchief, neckerchief clasp, handbook (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, ..)

The family provides:

The shirt, pants(if desired), and the insignia.
