Greetings from Queen Anne Cub Scouts Pack 70 & 72!  Here is your January 2009 post-on-the-refrigerator material for Cub Scouts...

Please Note:  Starting January 5th, all Dens will now meet at Bethany Presbyterian Church on Den Meeting Nights.

Friday, January 2, 2009!:
Family Swim at Queen Anne Pool - come splash around with other scout families during open swim hours at QA Pool - 7:00p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (see separate email) (Adult volunteer contact:  David Rice at drenorice@aol.com)

Monday, January 5:
Tiger Den Meeting @ 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church
Wolf, Bear, Webelos Den Meetings @ 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church
Bears and Webelos meet at Fellowship Hall for space assignment
Parents' Meeting - 7:15 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church (foyer) - discuss upcoming Pack events and volunteer needs

Please encourage your scouts to wear their red Pack t-shirts to school today!

Watch for den meeting content details from your den leaders.

Tuesday, January 6:
Monthly Parent Committee Meeting - 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Queen Anne United Methodist Church (upstairs parlor)
This meeting we'll discuss January Pack activities, the upcoming Pinewood Derby and finalize budget details for 2009.   Any and all parents are welcome and encouraged to join us.

Please note:  We are lacking representation from the Bear and Wolf dens...please consider adding this to your family calendar for at least one month in 2009!

Friday, January 9
Webelos Winter Camp - Camp Sheppard - Please contact your Den Leaders with any questions you may have.

Sunday, January 11:
Have fun in all the snow and be sure to take some pictures :-)

Monday, January 12:
Pack Meeting (all dens) @ 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Queen Anne United Methodist Church - Talent Night / Achievement Awards / Pinewood Derby Car Kits Distributed
Talk to your Den Leader first about contributing your individual or Den talent.  All contributors will need to "register" with our Cubmaster, Mr. E. or Asst. Cubmaster, Mr. Turner.

Please encourage your scouts to wear their uniforms to school today!

The Wolf Den is hosting this meeting. Please plan to arrive early for set-up, greeting and flag ceremony, skits / entertainment, and plan to stay afterward for tear down.

Monday, January 19:
No School.  Pack activity - Cut out Pinewood Derby Cars - 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Queen Anne United Methodist Church
Equipment will be on-hand for boys to get started on their derby cars.

Monday, January 26:
No School.  Please confirm with your Den Leader whether your Den is gathering.
