Pack Meeting – Advancement and Welcoming of New Scouts Monday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Bethany Presbyterian Church (1818 Queen Anne Ave) This is the time to recognize and celebrate scouts’ achievements for the year and is also the time dedicated to formally welcome new registered scouts of all ages. Bring your family and a camera!
Bike Rodeo Saturday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Coe Elementary playground. Hone your bike riding skills, practice important safety tips, and learn how to care for your bike. Our bike games are fun for your whole family. Everett AquaSox vs. Yakima Bears Sunday, July 5 at 1:05 p.m.
Join our Pack and root on the AquaSox. Tickets are $7 per person; families welcome. The first 1,000 fans ages 14 and under will receive a youth t-shirt, courtesy of Boeing.
Soap Box Derby & Picnic Saturday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Lake (see our website for directions). Race against other scouts, friends and siblings in our homemade Soap Box Derby cars. Bring your bike helmet. Putt-Putt Golf Tuesday, July 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Interbay Golf Center
Hit the miniature golf links and demonstrate your golfing ability. (See our website for details).
Magnolia Parade Saturday, August 1 (see our website for details as the date approaches). March with us in the Magnolia parade and help to throw candy to spectators along the route. Don’t miss the Rain Gutter Regatta demo and get ideas for the boat you’ll build this year! Swim Party Wednesday, August 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Pop Mounger Pool (Magnolia). Get cool by the pool. Play some water games and learn about water safety. Summer Trail Ride Sunday, August 16, Location TBD
Come with us as we ride our bikes on one Washington’s famous biking trails. (See our website for details as the date approaches)
Nature Hike Thursday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. at Discovery Park Visitors’ Center. Hike through Discovery Park with us. Learn some scouting trail songs along the way. Camp Pirate Cove - Resident Camp July 16-19 and Aug 6-9 at Camp Brinkley. While immersed in swashbuckling adventure on the High Seas, Cub Scouts will take part in activities such as archery, BB guns, nature hikes, crafts, swimming, and boating. Historically, These four days and three nights promise to be the highlight of the Scout’s summer! Valerie Paganelli
