Our Pack has a unique opportunity to get trained
in native indian survival skills The program has been custom made for our cub scout pack only.
Several of us (scouts and parents) will be there.
12/5 is the date, begins at 9:00 and ends around 5:00.
At the Wilderness Awareness School's property in Duvall.
The program will be hands-on, very interactive, and outdoors
on their 25 acres of land and they have access to many more acres that abut them. Skills(Native Indian based) that we will learn include:
- building mini-shelters - fire by friction, -wandering without getting lost (finding your way without a map and compass), -and other basic survival skills. Cost is $60 per participant.
